I bought a vegan fabric covered pair several years ago. They were made in Poland. Now, almost ALL Dansko shoes are made in CHINA, and the prices keep going up. What a disappointment. I won't be buying another pair. Too bad Dansko doesn't stick to the ideals that they copied off the Danes. If it bothers you too, check out Sanita. They are Danish shoes made by hand in Poland that sell for less than Dansko's shoes. I have a pair and they are beautiful. Unfortunately, Sanita seems to offer fewer vegan options, especially in Europe (which stinks, because they are way cheaper in Europe!).oh, and my pair of Danskos got a big split up the back of the heel ...
